reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2009): I have the same problem. Recently, that is. I stopped having sex for like 5 months with my boyfriend (we were apart), and I lately everytime I have sex with him, it starts a heavy period for like 12 hours and then tapers off. It's weird. I've looked online and most people say to talk to your OBgyn asap, so I'm going to do that tomorrow. It's not normal and a guy can't start your period for you. Obviously, he is making you bleed in an unnatural way, so I think you (and I) need to figure out why, because it's totally unnormal. Hope that helps!
