writes:I met this guy at the recently, a friend of a friend, and we just clicked. nothing happened, but he added me on fb and msn.he told his friend that hed met a really nice girl - me.so theres a chance he likes me, right?thing is, hes not in my group of friends so i cant like meet up with him casually. i usually speak to him on msn, and really want this to go somewhere - quickly! so how do i let him know i like him, get him to ask me out, subtly? i would just tell him how i feel but im afraid of rejection and him telling all his friends/my friends about it.seems really childish but i really like this one and dont want to let something that could have been just slip away.im not very good with guys, im usually tipsy for stuff to happen because it makes me more outgoing etcplease give me some advise on how to handle things :)

reader, anonymous, writes (16 April 2009): How close are you and the friend who yours and his friend. If you are close you could go to him/her and ask them to find out if this guy likes you. Also is there anything that you and this guy have in common (hobbies) that you could do together. If these options arent possible the only other thing I can suggest is be brave and ask him out. I know you said your afraid of rejection but like you said "I really like this one and dont want to let something that could have been just slip away."
