Are we seeing too much of each other?

A male age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I think my girlfriend and I have been seeing too much of each other. We got together at the beginning of the summer and it was great all summer. We didn't get to see each other that often but we texted/talked constantly. Our conversations were always fun and never dull. When we were together it was always so much fun and romantic. Now that school has started we see each other every day. We don't text as much and when we do the conversation is dull and boring. At school sometimes it's boring too. I know she texts all day in school, even other guys, but she won't text me. The thing is when we don't talk I miss her and want to talk to her but then when we do it's dull. I know relationships are not always constant and they take work but any suggestions? I think maybe we have just been seeing each other too much because we both still have strong feelings.

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 September 2013):

You kept each other company over the summer, and she likes to text. Things are wearing off a little bit, now that school is in session, and she is getting over the summer romance.

Just let things cool down; and when she misses you, she'll come back.

You said it's dull, so that means you didn't have much to say either. Just let it fade slowly away; and you'll get over it.

You'll still see each other.

When it starts getting dull, that means it's coming to an end. So start making some new friends ,and hanging out to fill in your time.
