Are these questions leading up to Xmas?

Question - (26 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 26 October 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Yesterday, while driving with my boyfriend on a very very long trip we somehow got to the topic of proposals. He then wanted to ask me questions for future reference and to not "look too much into it." He asked what kind of metals (gold, silver, etc) I like, if I liked bracelets long or tight, maybe a new chain for my necklace, if I liked any kind of gemstones and told him I really liked pear diamonds, and finally what ring size I was. Granted, I've never worn any rings so I don't know my size. I know he told me to not look too much into it, but we both pretty much know we're made for each other. I love him with all my heart and I'm wondering if he may be thinking of getting me a ring for Xmas coming pretty soon? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

k_c100 agony auntI wouldnt get your hopes up - if you start thinking he is going to propose you could be very disappointed if he doesnt so try not to think about it.

By the sounds of things he is probably going to be buying you some jewellery for xmas, but what type of jewellery no-one can know apart from him. He could be getting you a bracelet, a necklace, earings, a ring....who knows. But whatever he gets you, any jewellery is a lovely gift and you are lucky to have a guy who cares so much about what you like and what your tastes are.

You are very young to be getting engaged so dont get your hopes up that this will be a proposal, if you are made for each other then the proposal will come eventually but just be patient.

I hope this helps and good luck!
