Besides writing with a different hand, are lefties different than righties? Sometimes it's said that certain habits/ characteristics can indicate certain personality types, like the way you write can. I don't know... maybe it's stupid. Just wondering.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (19 February 2009):

well I am left handed, and I am definitely more creatively inclined. I feel like I have difficulty with math, though I excelled in math in high school. I am involved in drama, and my hobbies are writing, painting, and drawing. I've also recently taken up sculpture. I think this shows that lefties are definitely more creative than are righties. Famous lefties include Leonard da Vinci. I was wondering however does anyone know anything about two lefties in a relationship together?

i know two left handed people, and both of them are cosplayers. they design and sew their own costumes, which turn out looking amazing. i'm right handed and can not sew at all. i'm more right brained. i like to think logically. although one of the two lefties are more centered, she excells in both math/science and writing. she writes a lot of fanfics. the other is generally more left brained. she doesn't excell at math, but does well enough. but does a lot of creative work

plexi has it backwards,

right handed people are more likely to be left brain-the left brain is the more logical/mathematical side. left handed people are more likely to be right brained, and that's the artistic side.

Plexi agony auntright handed people are left brain dominant making them more creative, emotional and tend to excel at writing/speaking, reading, etc. left handed people are right brain dominant making them a bit more logical and academically inclined especially in the maths. i would not generalize though as not everyone is the same and it also depends on what we decide to focus on to excel at.........
