Are his feelings starting to come back?

Question - (27 August 2012) 2 Answers - (Newest, 27 August 2012)
A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I hung out with my ex yesterday. We went to the paint store. We had lots of physical contact, although it was not kissing and stuff. We flirted in a playful way, like I'd take his hat and he'd try to get it back and he'd put it in his pocket and I'd try to get it out by digging my hand in his pocket. He'd take my stuff and run and I'd chase him for it. People walking by thought we were together. After I chased him, we were waiting to catch the bus and he put my paint in his pocket too and said "its ransom for my hat, ill give it back on the train", so of course I tried to get it back. When we got to the train station, I asked for the paint, he said "nope, its ransom till you behave." and i asked what i was doing and he said "bad stuff" and i asked "like what? you were smiling so it couldnt have been that bad" and he didn't say anything. On the train he didn't sit next to me. He usually hugs me but he didn't when he got off at his stop. He broke up with me for another girl that he's seeing now, and I have a boyfriend also. We were together off and on for almost a year. We hung out three times this week, the times before this one, he'd walk me to work after we painted together (we do graffiti). After he went home yesterday, he just stopped texting me. I sent him a text later that night and he still didn't respond. Are his feelings starting to come back? He's not the type to cheat. Did our flirting mean anything? I thought it was harmless but what could he be thinking? Does he feel guilty? Is he avoiding me? What does this mean?
