 Well we dont know what type of things your bf likes, but i would suggest instead of an expensive get, something personal to him, maybe a joke between the two of you or even something relating to a good memory.]For dinner depends how well you can cook, keep it simple but tasty, like maybe a steak and hand cooked chips or you could find out his favourit meal from when he was a child and make that.
