A reader, anonymous, writes (2 December 2012):

If you can't think of anything OP ask his best friend what he's been talking about wanting to get. Ask the person who he engages his hobby with the most, if he's into 4 wheelers talk to his buddy that he does this kind of thing with and ask him for advice on what would be good.

Also a card is a good idea, but make it a ticket type thing, 'good for one blow job any time you ask no matter what mood or circumstance' or something like that. They can be great fun as long as you'll follow through. I got one for my birthday and used it to get one in a restaurant bathroom. She couldn't say no because that card is a pass.

chigirl agony auntA card?

I don't know, I'm not a big anniversary celebrating type. What I usually would do is more low key, invite to dinner, have a date-night. Go ut to eat, or have coffee, or see a movie? Unless he's expressed how much anniversaries mean to him I don't think you should worry too much about it. Anniversaries are mostly a womans thing, whereas men rarely remember the date of the anniversary.
