Question - (29 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 29 December 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Right, Im 18 years old and in June i met a guy in the army who was 25 when i was 17. He came onto me, kissed me and asked me for my number etc. I wanted to see him again so text him the next day asking if he wanted to go for drinks. He said due to the nature of his job, it wasnt such a good idea as I was under 18 and that we should leave it at a good night. I saw him again in July where again we kissed and texted for a few days afterwards where again i got the same message. We then went for coffee in August, just as friends. Its gone on like this for the past 6/7 months and last week we went on a date because I'd turned 18 and he said he could date me now and would like to take me out.

He made heaps of effort from October through to last week, texting me out of the blue, ringing me, chatting to me on facebook etc and we went out last week. We had a really lovely night and while we were waiting for my taxi home he was hugging and kissing me and then i text him when i got in saying i had a nice night and if he wanted a hand with his xmas shopping the next day that id come along and help if he wanted. he replied with something similar to what we normally talk about, snuggling in his bed together etc despite him saying he wud not take me home with him that night.

However, I have not heard from him since. Hes been on facebook and I text him xmas eve to get nothing back which is totally out of character. What do I do. Should i confront him and ask whats going on and get some closure that if he doesnt want to see me again to say goodbye and move on or just leave it completely?

Thanks for your help!

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

he has spoken to me since october, in fact since october we spoke practically everyday. He went on exercise for 3 weeks in november until 8th Dec and he texted me everyday. Its only been a week that i've not heard from him and that was over christmas in which he said he was busy so i wasnt expecting that much contact anyway...
