Am I reading my ex right?

Question - (10 May 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 12 May 2010)
A female United States age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Months ago my ex asked my daughter to ask me to call him. I didn't at the time, I was very sick. So I wrote him a short letter thanking Him for being there for our daughter. That week I noticed a huge change in him. He actually went to the doctors about an issue we had( it was the main reason we split up)and went on meds for it.( he broke up with me because I wanted him to get help). Of late I've been texting him. He always text back asap. I've started to call him fuzzy bear(similar to the old name I had for him). He's a painfully shy man. And he's just started to joke with me when I text him. We haven't been together for almost 2yrs, for 9mnth I didn't even even wave when we passed. He seems to like my texting, but he hasn't been the one to start it. Any suggestions as to how to bring this along. and am I taking things the right way from him? or am I reading it wrong.

Sounds like he may be a bit uncertain. You are the one who started it, so maybe you could suggest meeting up and see what happens.

You could try to find out how far he's got in sorting himself out, and whether he's done it for you or whether it was a pattern repeating. You need more information. He could have someone else and be doing it for her. You will never know the answers until you ask.
