Am I just deluding myself and should I forget about him?

A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I worked in a local shopping mall for about a year and think I have fallen in love with one of the security guys there. Trouble is I dont work there anymore and I've just found out today that neither does he. I am heartbroken :( I cant stop myself thinking about him, I even dream about him at night. I spend every spare day I have wandering around there so I can get a glimpse of him. He always says Hi to me and gives me a little wink or a smile but thats it. Although I have definately caught him giving me some lingering looks, and I know he's caught me doing the same. He has a girlfriend and I have a boyfriend. Am I just deluding myself and should I forget about him? Will I make a total fool of myself if I persue him any further? I miss him sooooo much :(

YummyMummy agony auntThe fact that you both have partners should tell you not to pursue this. If you really like him then I do suggest you end it with you partner as he obviously isn't the one for you. xxxxxxx

flower girl agony auntI think you should just look at this as one of lifes little fantasies and move on from it, as you have said yourself you have a boyfriend, he has a girlfriend so it was probably a bit of harmless flirtation.

Take care.xx.
