writes: dear cupidi would like help with what im feeling, i have seem to be interested in two people. one is a movie/soap star and the other one of which i am related to, by that i mean i keep on thinking about them non-stop and sometimes even cry, as i have no one in my life and wish for one of them to be here(this has now been for weeks). so my question to you is, am i in love with one of them or am i just stupid for feeling this way???? I dont want to sound mean or anything like that, because this is a very good question. But it sounds like you are just lonely, and for some reason you are trying for the people you cant have. I, myself, have thought I was in love with a movie star, but realized after time it was just an infatuation, and I was just trying to get over my ex. People tend to do that, alot.
You dont need to be feeling stupid because of it. I can garuntee that many people have been through this kind of thing before. So dont worry about it and just try to find someone you can have. Go out with some friends, you are bound to meet some girls there.

 Dear anonymous, First of all, I'm so sorry that you feel this way and no you are not stupid at all for having these feelings. Lets deal with the movie/soap star first. The feelings that you have for this person is very real to you and probably painful too but it is a feeling that cannot be returned. It is unrequited. I do understand how you feel because a lot of people have these feelings for stars. They seem so perfect to us and if you're feeling lonely and have no one else then its natural to reach out to someone on the screen but this person can't return your feelings to you and even if you did meet them then the chances are they wouldn't be so perfect in real life, trust me. This feeling may seem like love but it isn't. Its a crush and although crushes contain intense feelings, its not the same emotion as true loveNow, onto the second person you have feelings for. You say you are related. By related I take it you mean as in cousin or distantly related. I don't know the details but it appears to me that you are very lonely and reaching out to people who you possibly cannot have. If this person knows that you have feelings towards them but doesn't feel the same then you have to learn to accept that and move on. I realise that this may be hard for you and painful and you will probably cry but you need to learn to love the right person who will come along one day. Perhaps you could talk to someone close to you about how you feel, a friend or parent but please don't think you're stupid for feeling this way. We all experience strong emotions for someone at some point in our lives and while at the time its hurtful, its a learning experience that we all get through eventually.
