Hi all!

I've been trying to do my kegel exercises, not because I feel as though I'm loose down there or anything but I would like to be able to grip my boyfriend harder during sex as he finds its really pleasureable, I've never done kegels before so I looked it up and it said to hold for 5 seconds when starting out well I've found that when I contract the muscle after five seconds I go to relax and it has already relaxed without me feeling it, like I cant even hold it at all not even for 5 seconds.

I dont know what to do? x

It takes awhile to hone in on your kegels muscles. Next time you go pee, stop peeing. That's your kegel, just to confirm that is what you are contracting.

After awhile you will have really good control of your kegels muscles, it just takes time.

Tisha-1 agony auntKeep on trying. When you first start an exercise regime, which is what this is, you'll find your muscles don't cooperate as you'd like. Keep on trying and you'll find that over time, you'll be able to do those things.

I'd bring it up with your gyno when you see her/him next too. Maybe there's an issue you didn't know about.

I'd also check into a really good yoga studio that offers a focus on breath and working with the bandhas. You may find concentrating your breath in certain ways will help you achieve the results you seem to be seeking.
