reader, anonymous, writes (21 May 2008): Were you acting jealous and paranoid? If my boyfriend out of nowhere asked me if I cheated I would be angry because it would show a lack of trust. He should already know I wouldn't cheat. It should be a given, so the fact that you had to ask maybe meant to her that fidelity isn't a given in your relationship and that you have trust issues.

If my boyfriend ever asked me if i cheated I'd break up with him as well.
