This guy is being really honest with you, which is really good of him. It is a hard thing to admit to someone else, that you don't really love them, when they want you to. You want him to, but he doesn't love you. There isn't really anything you can do about it. I would appreciate him for his honesty, but let him go to be with someone he can truly love, and that you should find someone who can truly love you. Why would you settle for less than that?

This guy you've been seeing on and off is probably put off by your self-assurance, maybe he's insecure? Or just genuinly isn't interested? Sorry but he really doesn't sound into you.
