A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hey I'm a 16 year old girl and in need of some advice, I think I may of lead on a guy, I really like him as a person and we have been flirting but I don't want it to go any further, even if I did like him I wouldn't want it to because there's a lot he does I don't agree with. I'm not sure how to get out of it now though, I feel I may of lead him on and feel guilty about it because it's not fair. How do I kindly and subtly let him know I only want to be friends and get back to strictly just friend terms? please help!

So_Very_Confused agony auntyou may not be able to be subtle now.

especially if he has it in his brain that you want more already.

you must stop flirting all together...

never touch him...

and if he asks outright you must tell the truth... that you just don't see him as more than a friend..
