Heya :)

This sounds a little silly but shouldn't I be worried about going in to labour for the first time, or any worries at all.....

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and feel a little odd as I'm not panicking as much as other pregnant women I know and this is my first pregnancy.

Are there other women out there who were like this when they were pregnant? Also it's got so hot here today any tips on how to stay cool? A fan doesn't seem to be working lol

I had my 1st baby 2 months ago. I wasn't worried at 21 weeks pregnant either. I got worried though as I neared my due date. And when I was in labor I was freaked out & it hurt badly. So I got an epidural. However, it still hurts when you are pushing the baby out even with the epidural, but not as bad. If everyone else can get through it you can too. good luck.

darksecretangel agony auntHey,

First of all let me say congrats, you shouldnt be freaked out you are different to other woman and so you will probably deal with pregnancy differently to other expectant mothers.

About keeping cool, you should invest in a leg gel which cools you down ,and wear loose clothing.Dont forget to drink a lot of water to avoid dehydration, because your body needs more of it now that its hot and your pregnant =]

Good luck for the future xx

flower girl agony auntI was not all that worried when i had my first even considering all of the horror stories i had been told before, it is such a fantastic experience and not even half as bad as some people make out, i know everyone has different pain thresholds but after you forget straight away what is what like.

when it comes to knowing what to do when the babies born you will be amazed that it all comes naturally and you just know what to do.

Congratulations and the very best of luck for the future.xx.
