A lot on his plate or am I losing him?

A female Australia age 36-40, *herrybrick writes:

Hi,

I recently started seeing this guy. We met during our office Christmas party, we made out a few times that night! We've been out together a few times since then, he's usually send me texts every once and a while and would initiate the dates.

I've since left the company so we no longer work together, however we would still exchange emails almost daily, sometimes I'd initiate them, sometimes him. Things seemed to be going well, he'd be affectionate, held hands in public a few times, and i've even stayed over his place twice though we didn't go that far.

In the last 2 weeks, he suddenly seemed distant, he never sent me emails or texts. I seemed to be the one suggesting to meet up but he says he's busy. He's working weekends since his job contract expires soon, his best friend is moving back overseas and his mother is visiting for a month from overseas.

I understand its a tough time, but surely even an occasional email or text, or even catching up for lunch once a week/fortnight is not impossible? (we still work a few blocks from each other!)

Does this mean he's losing interest in me? Should I stop contacting him for now?

Leodjoneluv agony auntHe may just be busy but it does just take a second to email some one. you can do two things. 1. tell him that you really like him and that you want to date him. (con) He may turn you down and hurt you.

2. Dont call him back and wait for him (con) he may think that you lost interest and move on. I personally would wait for him to call me. A man is supposed to pursue a women.
