writes:I want to find a free chat room to meet other teens who are looking for a long distance relationship, texting, skype, facebook, etc. I really haven't had any luck at my own school and it hurts me so much inside to be lonely and have to hold a whole part of me back inside. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Im not super ugly or anything but girls just ignore me at my school. help?

Honestly, man, chat rooms will not help you.You might think you like a girl online but in fact you cannot love or like that way someone you have never met.It is all a fantasy...Talking in person to girls is the only way to eventually find a date...Show interest in girls and they will show interest in you.I know a handful of chatrooms as I have been there too. But I believe that you need to keep socializing and even tell your friends that you would like to have a girlfriend, they might help.Honestly you can WASTE many months on years on online sites. Don't get on any teen chat pages, trust me. Even if the girls are real they don't deserve your precious time. Find ladies nearby, instead of looking online for an illusion.Ive been through it. Trust me and good luck man!!!

 Honestly, if such a chatroom existed, you can almost guarantee it will be populated by a bunch of predators posing as teens to lure you in. Be really careful if this is the route you're thinking of going. I had out of town girlfriends when I was your age, and I met them through activities and work, sometimes mutual friends.Be careful online. There are some good people out there, but there are a LOT of bad ones too.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 April 2011): You could go on 'theGYC' it stands for Gay Youth Corner... however straight people do use it too. When you first join you get the option of whether you're gay, bi, or straight, you type in which one and whatever you say you can find someone. It's really easy, I'm a member of 'theGYC'. It's really good for making friends and finding people to date. Maybe you should try it, don't be put off by the name though. I hope this helped.
