 Okay, let's break this down. You like a guy, his best friend did like you but doesn't anymore and you want to ask said best friend why yes? Truth is it doesn't matter why best friend guy doesn't like you anymore. Crushes are so transient at your age. Quite often you can like someone and one thing can change that overnight. As far as I understand the fact that best friend boy no longer fancies you is a positive thing because it means you're free to go after the guy you really like.

 If you like a boy, be with who you want to be with. Just because someone likes you, doesn't mean that you have to be with them.
