A female reader, Laura1318 Malaysia +, writes (22 May 2010):

Laura1318 agony auntIf you are under 18 in Kentucky, your parents can obtain a warrant from the police to have you returned home if you are living in a place that puts you in need of protection.

Whether they will do that or not depends on the circumstances.

How is your relationship with your parents ?

Maybe, you need to talk with your parents .

PeanutButter agony auntAs far as I know (and I am not a person of legal knowledge) you are bound to your parents until the age of 18 in Kentucky.

However, it may be worth seeking legal advice on the matter seeing as you are expecting.

I am sorry I cannot be of much use here but I do wish you all the luck and love in the world with your new little one and I hope it works out for you xxx
