 Well have you too had sex yet? It seems quite odd to me that he would want to start a sexual realtionship with you by masturbating together in front of porn, but to each their own! The main thing is, is this what you want? Perhaps he is just really shy and wants t be sexual with you but is afraid to be for some reason. Perhaps he thought this would be a good way to break the sexual ice. Not quite sure why. Masturbating in front of porn isn't particularly romantic, but that's just my view.
Why don't you try to seduce him yourself? If this scenario happens again, why not suggest you act out a scene from the porn together? If that doesn't get him going, he must have some kind of issue going on like erectile disfunction, porn addiction for examples.
