 Well, to start at the top, he may well be playing the flirting game but that doesnt mean he would say no. All the things you mention suggest that there is at least some interest there. How you build on that you need to play by ear I think.
I think guys are still generally expected to make the running but to be honest its not something that bothers me. I guess it may put off some guys but my attitude about who asks who is ce le vie. As for the talk randomly think that should be cool as long as you are not too in there face about it, just act casual calm and collected even if your stomach is doing loops inside. Hope that helps.
