I'm a 18 year old girl and I’m fairly shy and wary or getting into relationships because of previous boyfriends.

I’ve been single for 2 year and I’m fed up of it and of guys treating me badly.

But recently I’ve became quite fond of one of my good mates wee brother (hes 16 soon).

We ended up kissing at a party and now I’m totally confused.

My mate tells me that her bro is really shy with girls ect.

She also tells me not to worry if I was to date him coz he wouldn’t cheat on me or treat me badly.

But I’m really unsure I donno if he likes me…one of my m8s did ask him but he said he didn’t know but his sister told me he said that coz hes to scared to make the 1st move or anything like that.

Thing is I am scared too…but I really feel we could have something good if only one of us would make a move.

I wish someone would just bang our heads together its so frustrating.

What can I do??

Go for it girl, ask him out and see what happens. You are both very young and it could be fun. You won't know until you try it. Ask him out to the cinema, because he is too young to go drinking. Or maybe ask him out for something to eat, make sure you either pay for it or let him pay for half, but at 16 he probably doesn't have much money.

Ask him out, you know you want to.

Take care
