A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

There is a college dance coming up soon and i really fancy the person i want to go with. We have made a good friendship this year and we will speak whenever an oppartunity comes.

I am slightly shy, I'm scared to ask her. Would it be wise to send her an email asking her because I don't have much time after the weekend to ask her? What should i say in the email? I don't want to appear cowardly byt sending an email.

Whatever you do decide to do - BE SINCERE! "Hey x! How are you? I was hoping if you'd like to come with me to the college dance? I thought about for a while and thoguht I'd have great time out with you. So what do you say?" (smile).
