I'm not sure wht to think of my sister's relationship to her bf. They seem to love each other, yet there are a few flaws I worry about. My sister has been with her bf for 9 months and they are already talking about kids and marriage! She's only 16! But what really troubles me is their arguments and his temper. They dont argue ALL of the time, but when they do, my sister tells me that sometimes the arguments are huge ones. It seems she's always mad at him for something, and I wonder how are they still together at times.

But about his temper...... I don't like it. Today he cussed at me! I've heard his anger stories, yet my sister sometimes just laughs. Is this a real lasting relationship like my sister thinks?

hannieseds agony auntHey!

She should be so grateful to have a caring sister like you! Just be careful NOT TO get too involved, otherwise you will risk jepodising your relationship with her.

Anger can do awful things to people and those they love if they don't get a handle on it. And especially since your sister is still only 16 and having to put up with someones temper like that, I hope this doesn't scar her for life and put her off relationships!

Why would he cuss at you?

Seriously tho, if you are really worried about this (if he could hurt her or take his anger out by throwing things etc) then you should really talk to your parents or someone you trust. I've always believed there is a bond between sisters that is unexplainable, so the fact that you are worried, tells me that your senses have alerted you to something that isn't quite right.

Just keep your distance and keep that connection with your sister going because she obviously is very open with you about her relationship. Don't go snooping too much or try to say something to her bf or to her that would jepodise your relationship, because you need to be able to keep an eye on her in case things do get out of hand.

Please, if you think things are getting out of control, don't be afraid to tell someone about your worries. xxx
