writes:Quick question,,Friend had unprotected sex on day 13 of my cycle, ( been with her partner over 3 years and they have a house together ). No judgements for her please.She went to get the morning after pill the next day and took that. just under two hours later she was sick at mine, but didnt realise the problems. The next day she had sex but the condom split. Will the pill she took the day before still work on today?Please dont pass judgement as she is already upset enough. Thankyou

reader, anonymous, writes (13 August 2009): Short answer is no it won't, and you can't take it more than once in a cycle so unfortunately she is going to have to keep her fingers crossed and hope.
With her being in a long term relationship She should really look into other forms of contraception, Like the pill or an implant
