As DoubleM has said you will have many women come and go in your life seeing as you are young and if you feel you can handle the FWB thing then it really is up to you personally i would not just jump right in though (excuse the pun) just for the sex! she is a friend too and the both of you need to be in the proper frame of mind for this type of friendship, you have to consider first and foremost how valuable this friend is to you and if things turned sour through having the FWB thing how would you feel?

In my experience, which is longer than I usually care to reveal, it usually does help to get over a past romance by beginning another. You will probably find that moving on is the better way if indeed your former affair is truly over. Try to understand that women may come and go during your life span, especially when so young. You simply have to adjust to this possibility (actually a probability).

You should probably deal with your feelings with the your ex girl friend before you decide to sleep with another girl. One you start an intimate relationship with someone, even if it is stated in the begning no strings, feelings will develop quickly, and it will complicate and possibly ruin your friendship with the other girl.
