writes:Why Is My Former Teacher Behaving So Strangely? I Contacted My Former High School Teacher After 5 Years To Catch Up. He Initially Answered My Email And Said That He'd Love To See Me Again But Then when I wrote back to him to set up a date and time to meet, he never replied. I had romantic feelings towards this teacher in high school and I somehow felt like he felt the same way. After a few emails to no avail, I wrote to him and told him that I was going to his school to visit him. THEN I get a reply that he hasn't answered because he thinks writing to me is inappropriate. What does this mean!? If that was the case, why would he write in the first place? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (14 April 2009): no, i haven't gone to his school. He specifically asked me to not go because it will be unprofessional and inappropriate. He asked me to not contact him anymore. I don't know why he is acting so dramatically. His initial email was so friendly and now he sounded so rigid and professional. It's very confusing. He means alot to me and we had great years together. We seemed to connect alot and I always thought he liked/loved me. I would never expect him to write and say that seeing me is inappropriate. I am so confused!

 He wrote back and then got cold feet, he was probably scared in case his wife or girlfriend found out.
