I don't see why he is so mean about it... because before we used to have a laugh and be good mates. I have never felt this way before and it really hurts and I feel soo depressed! Why is he being like this?

reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2007): Well, chalk it up to the fact that he is just a boy and he doesn't know what he wants, he may not be interested in having a girlfriend, would rather play outside.....don't take it personally, he likes you as you were mates, he is just intimidated that you want something more from him....back off, and he will come around, but I don't know if I would want to be with someone who talked behind my back negatively, are you sure he is doing that?
