writes: hi, i go to the park every week with my sister and we met some boys there and we got to know them. we have all now been going to the park together every week for a year. recently the one i fancied asked me out and i said yes. but he said "lets keep it a secret from everyone else at the park tho, lets only tell our mates from our own school". (we go to different schools). I dont really understand, is he ashamed of me cos he doesnt wanna tell his mates at the park, only his mates at school that i have never met before?i'm confused! what should i do and what do you think about the whole thing?oh yer! i dont know how he can be ashamed of me tho cos he wants me to meet up with him and his mates from his school soon so is he ashamed of me? cos he does want me to meet them? of course he's not ashamed of you!
He's probably just embarresed because either none of his mates have got a girlfriend or that you're his first girlfriend. I'll bet he's really nervous about them meeting you because he wants them to like you so much. I'm sure all will be fine and tell me what happens. I think how you met is not common but I'm happy for you all the same!
