She even said she'll get my bag in a different colour so why then didn't she just say she likes it?I'm not ugly or anything I get compliments all the time even from strangers. But I was just curious as to why my close friend refuse to compliment me. I compliment her all the time.. Could be one of two things,
1) she feels she is a good enough friend, and loves you like a sister , so dont have to tell you , you should know if she thought you looked wrong she would tell you, or if your things you buy are horrible she would tell you.....
2) She is jealous of you, so refuses to compliment you, say's she will get the same bag in a different colour, but not comment on how nice yours is, because she dont want to boost your ego, and deflate herself.
I actually think it's the first one, she is such a friend and comfortable around you, she dont feel like she has to tell you. I know its strange to think that could be the case, cause us girls love to compliment were it due lol, but not every woman is good at giving compliments either.
Have you actually ever asked her why she never pays a compliment? you should, just say " hey I notice a lot lately that you never compliment me on anything, is everything ok with us". see what she say's.
