General question time.

Why would someone you split with 7 months ago, be telling you they still love you, and cant get with someone else yet because of that. Yet be chasing lots of different girls at the same time, especially ones 10 yrs younger than them? going for drinks with them, sleeping with them, and letting them cook dinner? (3 different girls at the moment)

No_Nonsense agony auntHi there

If there's one rule us girls should remember when dealing with guys, it's this: Don't listen to anything they say; watch what they do!

Maybe he thinks he does love you, but he's not showing it, is he? If he's going around with other girls and acting like that, he's really showing you that you can do better.

I think you should back away from him a bit and let him see what he's losing if he continues behaving that way. If you're too available or whatever, he'll think that he really can have the best of both worlds.

We stay civil and he txt in the evenings, asking what im doing etc. Wants to know if i'm dating etc. Which i'm honest about not doing. Dating is the last thing on my mind. I'm still healing. And it was me that ended it with him by the way. Then he starts banging on about this that and the other girl. The other night in the pub we both go in, he kept saying he still loves me, giggling when i walk to the bar saying hmmm nice bum. Then jokingly saying one day he's gonna marry me. Ive made it clear i wouldn't get back with him, and if i had known him before i dated him, and saw what ive seen him behave like now, i would of given him an extremely wide berth in the first place.

Told him last night i'm a bit fed up now with being used to pass the time in the evenings txt wise til his latest conquest replies to him. To which he said its not like that.

I dont get playas, they are strange!

Honeygirl agony auntSweetie, that man is not worth knowing! All he will bring is pain and heartache. He is only telling you those things for 'just in case' his conquests dont work out then he will still have you available...... Send him on his way and dont listen to any of his sob stories!

Lilly Rose agony auntIt's Simple...because he wants to have his cake and eat it, proberly scared of full commitment to you and wants the players lifestyle still. I would stay clear of him and lose contact with him and find a nice decent guy who knows exactly what he wants!

'Cos he wants you around for whenever the others aren't answering their phones and he'll say 'I love you' if that's what it takes. He's using you. Tell him where to stick it.

No_Nonsense agony auntHi there. You were the serious love relationship; these other girls are the casual, no strings attached fun. It seems your ex wants the best of both worlds. Seems to me like he doesn't know what he wants. But scrap everything he says to you (all the 'i love you's) and really just focus on his actions. It's actions that count the most. Obviously based on his actions here you can't really believe when he says that he still loves you - if he did, he would be with you! Even if he is unsure/confused about where he's at, Maya Angelou was right when she said: "Love can be many things; it is varied. One thing love can never be, though, is unsure." Forget him and move on. You don't deserve to be go through the drama.
