 There is one good thing that can come from you being on top - that you control how deep the penetration goes. You can go online and find lots of different positions that sre designed for shallow penetration. Have a look at some of these and experiment with your boyfriend, i'm sure he'd be up for trying something new, just tell him to be gentle with you whilst you are exploring these positions.
Of course, if he is grabbing you and actually moving you around, you could always tie his hands to the bed whilst you're on top, that way you can have full control of how deep the penetration goes!

reader, anonymous, writes (30 October 2010): it might just be that your boyfriends penis goes too deep when u are in those positions. I get the same when i'm on top. It feels sort of the same as when I lost my virginity, but it goes away after a little while and a little patience. If it hurts too much don't do it. It could just be where his body is hitting your cervix. try doing it a lot more gently than you are, work out what hurts and what you can do to make it not hurt. Doggie style isnt for everybody either, it allows rough penetration. have you tried lying facing the same way with your back to him and your leg pushed back over his and being penetrated this way? See if this hurts as its not as deep a penetration and leaves your hands free to play. x
