 I'm pretty sure it's not 'abnormal' - I think you'll find it has to do with a little natural hormone named oxytocin that is released in the body during sexual intercourse (it's also released during child birth and at other times and has to do with attachment and connection). I'm not up with all the science of it - but this is my guess as to why you;re shedding some tears after sex. I have too a couple of times! Don't worry about it.

 The human body ain't all that complex, there are only so many nerves and many are used for multiple purposes.
For whatever reason your eyes start to water when excited, some people moan, others are silent and can't even talk, yet others go giggly. It is who you are.
You might inform him that that they are tears of happiness just in case he gets the wrong idea.
Remember, we get tears no just from pain but also from being emotionally hurt, laughing loudly or happiness.
Tears of joy perhaps?

i cried after sex a couple times i think its just being like over whelmed. Im not that sure i always wondered that to but im just over whelmed cuz the sex was so ..........loving instead of f***ing ya know?my boyfriend dont like it cuz it makes him feel bad whenever theres tears in my eyes.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 July 2008): Well, I'm assuming that it is not hurting, so the only thing that I can think of is happiness. I surprised my wife with a very nice Christmas present and a very loving card last year and she cried for 15 minutes out of happiness. I guess she is not as happy about our sex life, as I have never seen her cry during or after sex. :)
