That question can swing both ways and does.... Why do people cheat? and if they are unhappy, why don't they just end it?
People can cheat for a variety of reasons.. it could be that they are unhappy in their currect relationship.. they could just be selfish and want to experience more of life than what they have at home...
If they are unhappy, they can stay for a variety of reasons as well... familiarity of the relationship may hinder ones feeling on change and make them afraid to leave.

Actually, recent reseach has proved that women cheat just as much as men, it's just that they don't get caught so much. Usually, a man who cheats does it for nothing more than sex. If a woman cheats, it's generally because they're feeling unloved (though this is not always the case). A man won't end it if he thinks he's having the best of two worlds.
