Hey,

I hate to break the bad news to you but its better you know now so you can get over him.

When breaking up with us guys are cowards, they say things like 'lets just be friends' because they think it will make us feel better while also making themselves feel better about breaking up with us!

My advice to you, cut off all ties with you ex. Dont try and contact him in anyway. Your still young. Go out with your friends have fun and show that boy you dont need him. Guys take pleasure in knowing that a girl is crushed without them.

And as the saying goes... theres plenty more fish in the sea!! (or sharks)

I hope I helped you a bit and it hurts now but you'll get over it. Good luck :)

I think blokes find that as a way of breaking your heart but not completely stomping on it. Maybe he does want to be friends but maybe he doesn't want to contact you so soon, and maybe he thinks if he contacts you too soon then you might take it the wrong way as in get back together.

Little girl x agony auntMany men say that as a cliche,

and although i'm sure he values you friendship, it is possible he did say it to 'spare your feelings'

However, it takes two to tango so why not make contact with him?
