writes:Me and my boyfriend went on our first date yesterday. at the end, he hugged me for ages, i mean like really ages. afterwards, i suddenly became shy, he was going to kiss me, but i turned my head away. i havent heard from him since. what i really want to know is why did he hold me for so long and why did i feel so shy?

 Why would anyone hold anyone for that long? Obviously he feels something for you. You're dating aren't you, I mean, are you really that surprised that he hugged you for so long?

I believe he hugged you for so long is because he really likes and wanted to show you that. I think you became shy is because you didn't really expect a hug which lasted for as long as you described. I think you should probably talk to him about it.

Tell him your shy and your not used to dating, but tell him you like him and think that he is cute. Boys are just like us, they can get shy and confused too. Now he probably thinks that you don't like him very much and he's probably very sad and worried.
