writes: my ex boyfriend lives in australia, but when he left he said he'll only be gone 4 a year and he'll neva fall in love with anyone else or sleep with anyone else (i didnt believe this as he is a guy) But 4 the first couple of monthes he was calling me and textin me. It really got 2 me though as he stopped calling me and texting me, he even 4got my bday, so i text him he doesnt reply, i call him and he doesnt answer me, then 1 day he answers and pretends he cannot hear me, it really hurt meas i am still after 8 monthes head over heels even though he has done this, but he wont tell me WHY, i need help. Sorry its long x

 He is going through a big life experiance and was unfair on him to state he wouldn't move on with anyone else as he probably doesn't know that for sure so all he has done it made it so you stay faithful waiting for him to come home.
My advice would be to stop trying to contact him, he will miss you and contact you if that is what he wants.
You can't always get what we want back from a relationship and sometime we have to just accept that and move on ourselves, things happen for a reasons and it might not feel like that now but in time you will meet someone else and you will realise then that meeting this person was the reason that you and your current boyfriend didn't work out.
At the same time there maybe a very good reason for this although no reason why after all this time he couldn't bother to contact you.
Time to forget, start getting over him and moving on.
