He is one of my close friends and I can talk to him whenever. But lately he has been a jerk. Like saying go away and no one cares. And calling me names. He use to be my bestfriend and now i am confused. School is over for the summer and I can't stop thinking of him. I know I don't have a crush on him. But why has he been acting that way? A lot of my friends have had a crush on him.. and he knows it to. But why hyas he been so rude and mean when really he is a nice person?

this is going to sound a little stupid to you..but this guy is probably being a jerk because he likes you, guys do tend to get a bit like that around girls they like, so they don't show there true feelings.or he could be crushing on one of your friends (one of those who fancy him back), and doesn't want to seem as close to you, so these girls realise he doesn't like you more than best friends, and sometimes for a girls, guys can look as though best friends is at the next level even when it's not, but one of them may feel that way.
