We've been together for a little over six months and he's the only one that I've done this with. He's always been very gentle with me, so I'm confused as to why this is happening. Any answers? And will they stay like this, or will they go back to the way they were?

 Hormones can definitely play a part in it, depending on what time of the month it is. At your age your breasts are likely also changing and might just be a little sore. Just ask your bf to be a little more gentle.

 It can be your hormones. My nipples can get tender any time of the month in between periods. Certain bodily changes are predictable while others aren't so. You just have to play it day by day.
