A female South Africa age 30-35, *olfheart writes:

well.. I have been single for years because I chose it to be that way. See, I'm too much of my own person and love to be 'free'.

But now I am thinking of giving it a shot.

Here's the dilemma...

One guy, (A), I have known for almost two years. we met online and he lives about 2hrs drive away from me. He apparently adores me (his own words) and well yeah I like him a lot too. He is genuine and he is awesome. We have a lot of interests and get along well. (He is like a Romeo when he is with me..not at all as he is with his friends and others. We have a good understanding.

The other, (B), I have known for about two months. He lives where I do and he is just awesome. He really hits that 'soft' spot in my heart and we are good friends but I sense 'more' looming. Just last night he asked me: '..so when do you get a boyfriend?' just after he asked me a few personal questions. and we both share the same morals and interests and get along great. It's kinda like we speak a language only we truely get.

And we laugh at each other's lameness when what we said or did was not all that.(LOL). He hides what he feels well but he makes excuses to talk to me and I heard he was quite down when I was not at a social event last Saturday. (he thought I was going to be there). I have a few more scenario's but I guess you get the idea.

There is a (C) but he is just TOO much of a smoothie for my taste lol.

WHAT should I do??? I wish I could just rip my heart out and eat it so that I don't feel these conflicting emotions lol.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (6 April 2009):

Lucky, lucky you! Basically you already narrowed it down to A or B.(unless there is more to C than being a smoothie!) Both seem absolutely perfect-I'm jealous! Lol. Who is the first guy you think about when you wake up in the morning and who is the last guy you think about at night?

Who keeps you talking for hours yet never loses interest in what you say?

I'm leaning towards be because evn though you two have only known each other for two months, you seem to have hit it off. If you were meant to be with A, you may have done so ealier-but he sound sweet so don't break his heart! I keep rereading your letter and either A or B sounds good for you. But do what your heart thinks.

All the best and let me know how you get on!
