I'm 14 and my bf is 15. On the first date I was very shy, and I know he was nevrous. After we went home, he sms-ed me said he wanted to hold my hand but he thinks I may slap him. On the next date should I let him hold my hand or should I hold his hand first?

I can't tell you how nice it is to have a question from a 14 year old asking should she hold hands. You can do one of two things, text him back and tell him you would love to hold his hand, or on your next date just slip your hand into his.

followtheblackrabbit agony aunt:) I think you should go ahead and take his hand if he takes a while to get around it and is sweating bullets. He's nervous and believes you will slap him, but if you take his hand that shows that you're perfectly ok with it and relieves the pressure on him :) He seems like a sweet, considerate guy-hope you two have a great second date :)
