I certainly last longer when I'm on my back, with the girl on top of me. Though until I was in my mid twenties, my wife often helped me to climax before we inserted and started the actual intercourse. That helped me last quite a bit longer, in any position.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 December 2009): Going slow helps. Taking "pauses" with not being in the woman helps too. But what helps most to last longer is to think about something un-sexy (like your grandma) while having sex and you'll last a lot longer.
