I know what I dad is, I didn't understand exactly what you were asking. Where does anyone get their advice? It's all from experience, opinions. I have seen some posts by older men and fathers, but the majority of posters are women. I think its because women are romantics and we have a tendency to analyze things and read into them more and want to make everything work. We're doers. While men...they tend to just go with the flow of things. They may also be too busy to have time to get on a site like this. I think it's great, but I'm a female. I couldn't imagine my own father having the time or desire for a site like this.

LazyGuy agony auntWe just wing it.

Men see things as "problem - solution". Doing something matters more then being right.

I presume you are talking about raising kids? Well in a two-parent household the wife will be doing most of the advice seeking, the man picks up new stuff from her, remembers his own upbringing and act on that.

Men on the whole don't ask advice until it is absolutely necesarry. That is the wifes department.

Don't think this mean dads are not involved, just that a child does not need two mothers. On the whole, it simply does not fit the role of a father to seek advice on the kids.

If we seek advice we do it by using google and reading the answer. You read the site for a year, be honest how many female questions could have been solved simply by googling it?
