reader, anonymous, writes (24 October 2008): Try joining a sports club/gym or something else that interests you eg. evening art class - doesn't your high school have any such clubs? Then you could meet guys who have something in common with you and thus it's far easier to strike up conversation. However, don't worry if no-one suitable appears, they'll always come when you stop looking for them! Besides, you may meet more exciting people at college or later in life - you have years ahead of you yet!
