That's generally when you look at a man and wouldn't say look at that lad, you'd say look at that man.
By 21 a guy is finishing his degree and in a position to think about doing serious grown up things.
Getting a mortgage, getting married and starting a family are something to start thinking about.
Or going out and travelling and taking over the world if you are that way inclined.
Having said that I am 25 and have no idea what I am doing half the time and still feel 15. My grandad told me he still feels 19.
