A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Girls are you more likely to say "yes" to go out on a date with a guy if you two talk a few times before he asks you, or if he just comes up to you and asks you out on a date?

I wanted to ask a girl out today but we only talked once before and i ended up not asking her because i wanted to let her get to know me a little better before asking, i feel it would be a lot less pressure. what do you think?

betty_black agony aunt I'd wait and get to know her a bit more before you do that. Wait and see if theres things about her you dont quite like before you get all serious and dating.

QuirkLady agony auntI like to talk to a guy a few times first too, just to make sure we get along OK. It's much easier to accept a date from a guy that I like than from a guy I just met. It's definitely a plus sign that a guy wants me to be comfortable with him before we go to the next step.
