 I'd wait and get to know her a bit more before you do that. Wait and see if theres things about her you dont quite like before you get all serious and dating.

 I like to talk to a guy a few times first too, just to make sure we get along OK. It's much easier to accept a date from a guy that I like than from a guy I just met. It's definitely a plus sign that a guy wants me to be comfortable with him before we go to the next step.
