Question - (3 December 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 3 December 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I really like this guy, and he's been in my life forever. I'm younger than him....Okay...four years younger. He's funny and makes me laugh and smile. But he's a real player. He talks about how hot girls are infront of me. But when his friends aren't around, he's sweet and makes me...well, all bubbly. I know it's corny and CHEESY, but I really want to know if he likes me? Why is he so different with his friends around? Do you think we could ever like, be together? Please answer? I need help!!

A female reader, kalykush United States +, writes (3 December 2010):

kalykush agony auntyou should talk to him privately and ask him exactly how he feels.

as for acting different infront of his friends. most Boys do this as a sign of showing off. but he can also be sending you signals that he's not very serious about you and won't be even if you get together.

when you're with your girl friends... dont you act slightly different? because you are with people you trust and know you can be silly around.

he may do this to see if you are jealous, or because he is comfortable to show you both sides...

however i will stick with my gut and say he is doing it because he doesnt want to be serious with you and is showing off to his friends
