I work for an agency and depend on the schedulers to fill my schedule in order to have enough work. There's one scheduler in particular who has been very kind and befriended me since the beginning, she has kept my schedule full since day one. My question is, what's a good gift idea that says thank you, yet keeping the whole 'working relationship' image ?She loves cats and it's a diabetic, so I guess sweets are out of the question. Thanks ! Reply to this Question |

This can be a tough situation because the other schedulers may get jealous and mess up your schedule if you don't get them a gift as well. I would get all of them a card and then stick a gift certificate in her card. The other schedulers will see that you award those that work hard for you but at the same time, won't feel completely unappreciated. I also think the solver's suggestion about the email is absolutely the BEST idea and you should do this for ANY scheduler when they do a good job on a regular basis.

well the best thing is not to give her flowers might give off wrong impression so ide get her something to do with cats on it. and when you give it to her just say its my small way of saying thank you for keeping my schedule filled to have enough work..that way its seen as a token of apprieciation without indications to anything else.. hope it helps aphex
